RETAIL SAFARI LONDON

When in difficult times, we should always try to look at the brighter things in life. Maybe the summer trip you planned is going down the drain, but it’s always nice to dream ahead! That’s why I am sharing with you, some must see stores in London, which I saw in the beginning of march. On this trip we did a retail safari through different regions like Kensington, Chelsea, Covent Garden, Soho, Mayfair and Shoreditch. Here are some of my favorites and make sure to press the arrow on the right to browse through all the pics, enjoy!

As usual the Aesop stores didn’t let us down. With their aesthetically pleasing packaging, and natural, calm interior design they integrate their philosophy to 'always work with what is already in place, tread lightly with respect for the past, present and future'.

Another brand that does a pretty good job at differentiating their store design is Ace & Tate. Still, every store has similarities that make you recognize the brand immediately. These pops of color

Further, I loved the stores from Red Valentino and Tod’s designed by India Mahdavi. The use of soft materials, lots of color and 60s inspired shapes, make me a real fan of her work. At Tod's Mahdavi also created a homely atmosphere by mimicking different rooms of a house, the living area, the parlor, dressing etc. to display the items being sold.

Other 'more high end' fashion brands I absolutely adored were Parisian brands Chloé and Céline. Don’t mind the excitement from my end, you’re dealing with a wannabe Chloégirl over here! Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to make much pictures, bot the more minimal designs with an eye for detail in lighting, materials etc really let the items speak for themselves.

Lastly I wanted to share some more accessible stores where you can be submerged in greenery and flowers like: Meadows, Conservatory archives, Cuemars and Natoora. These stores really  are a breath of fresh air in this retail driven world.
